I want to thank everyone for having patience with the Elite Battle Zone in the month of February while we had the MLG Dr. Pepper video on the main website and in the forum in the shoutbox area. I do not know how many of you wanted to find where Shibby lived and do bodily harm to him, but thank you all for sticking in there.
Elite Battle Zone was approached by the organization that represents the video and asked if we would embed it on our website and forum. The prize they will pay is $7.00 for every 1000 views. The views did not matter if the video played for 3 seconds, or if someone watched the entire video. The method to be paid the most was to have it Autoplay. This feature was very shall we say "disturbing", but it has paid off in a manner in which we did not think it would.
There are so many ways to try to make money with impression programs, click programs, Adsense, Adbrite, and etc.. This program we have seen the greatest profit in the shortest amount of time. Thank you to all our community members, and guests who kept coming back on a daily basis. That campaign is now done, and all that we have is our sponsorship material.
We do not hide things here, no secret forum boards, and since we all help this website succeed we have no problem stating what you all helped us make from that single pain in the you know what video.
From the time period of 1/26/11 to 2/28/11 end of video campaign EBZ made $66.50 with 9,533 views. This money will go towards our server for the month of April. Thank you all again, and if any clan would like to do this let us know and we will pass your website along to the organization that contacted us.
