I have no problems with any of the rules, even the one I am bringing up right now. I just wanted to state my opinion about it and to see if anyone agreed.
15 second accelerated clock- I know this speeds the game up a bit, which I like. But just like every video game developer, they dont really test their games or they have a huge lack of common sense. The thing I dont like about the accelerated clock, a person can exploit 15 extra seconds off the clock when trying to run out time at the end of the game. Of course not in the last 2 min, but during any other time.
Thanks for reading.

I prefer a standard clock with no roll off. It is much more realistic and allows you time to pick your plays and to make pre-snap adjustments. It also allows for much more strategy in terms of clock management.

I'm with you two, with accelerated clock on I feel that it takes away from pre-snap adjustments. As long as both players keep up a good pace and aren't trying to bore their opponent to death, I enjoy not having the accelerated clock.

im gonna have 2 disagree with you fellas. The games already take an hour with accelerated clock if you remove that they will b even longer with higher scoring. Not to mention if you pick your play fast enough you have time for adjustments. if runoffs off then qtr length should b shortened to make up for time.

Most of us are coming from an All-Madden franchise with 7min quarters, no runoff. We generally have scores in the 21-35pt range. Unless you are letting Madden pick your plays or using Gameflow, game times should not be much longer than with a runoff.

The other issue with this runoff and no runoff are great points for both sides. One problem I see is if there are computer ran teams, there will be a lot of running up the score with no runoff to kind of slow it down. If we go with no runoff, then we need to make a rule that keeps any owner from putting more than so many points up on a computer team.
Example: Say we make it a maximum 28 pts they can keep over the computer score. So if the computer were to score 28 on you, you can have 56 total points. If you score 72, then in the EBFL standings section, we correct it down to 56. I ont know how to fix it. I am just offering up some sort of Slaughter rule idea. We had too many owners trying to pull one over last season when they played the computer. Also, on this subject of computer owners, anyone who restarts a game against the computer without taking video proof of a locked game that lasts 3 minutes, should be removed from the league for cheating. I had a game last season where my system actually locked up, instead of immediately restarting my PS3 I knew if I did it there would be trouble, so I got out my phone and took a 5 minute video and sent it to Eastwood while he was still commish to prove the lockup before I even reset my PS3. Not that they have to wait to restart after taking the video, but this is to CYA when this happens to anyone. Should make sure people follow that rule, because potential removal could happen if they dont.

yes pryboy, that is absolutely a point we wont to get across to every owner. NO RUNNING UP THE SCORE OR PADDING STATS AGAINST THE CPU!!!!!
