Section 1. Website & Forum Rules
1. Respect thy clan/squad/individual, thy enemy’s clan/squad/individual, and thyself. Treat others in a fashion in which you yourself would want to be treated.
2. Have fun. These are games, and as such should be enjoyed by all who play them. If the game is no longer enjoyable than that is when an individual should stop playing. Don't allow your misery of the game to ruin the experience for someone else.
3. Follow and abide by the ROE (Rules of Engagement) for each tournament that your clan/squad/individual participates in. The ROE shall be short and sweet, and all participants should be able to abide by them.
4. Follow and abide by all forum community rules that may be established in the Elite Battle Zone™.
5. Follow Elite Battle Zone™ Terms of Service (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/content.php/35-terms-of-service), Privacy Policy (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/content.php/33-privacy-policy), and Copyright/IP Policy (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/content.php/31-copyright-ip-policy).
6. Uphold the values of the EBZ™ while your clan/squad/individual participates here. Do not bash, insult, flame, or harass any clan/squad/individual who participates in the EBZ™. Your actions reflect this website, and as such should be navigated away from any wrong doing.
7. Staff abuse will not be tolerated in any form, be it messaging, forums, or PS3 online messaging. Situations such as this will be handled accordingly.
8. Disrespect in any form to any Referee, Moderator, Staff Member, Administrator, Community Member, or Clan/Squad/Individual who participates in the EBZ™ will not be tolerated. Listed below are the infractions that will be given if/when a violation happens. Elite Battle Zone™ may at it's discretion use (D.) for a violation without following A, B, or C.
A.) 1st offense from an individual that disrespects will be given 1 event suspension.
B.) 2nd offense from an individual that disrespects will be given 2 event suspension.
C.) 3rd offense from an individual that disrespects will be removed from event participation.
D.) 4th offense from an individual that disrespects will be removed from the Elite Battle Zone™.
9. Elite Battle Zone™ will not tolerate any form of discrimination of any community member based on Color, Sex, Age, Political Views, Nationality, Gender, Religion, Disability, Race, Creed, and Gaming Console.
10. Elite Battle Zone™ values the Constitutional rights for freedom of speech and freedom of expression. However; we will have to draw a line if this gets out of control in the forum community. We do not censor threads that are created. We simply ask that good judgment be used on certain words or phrases.
11. Elite Battle Zone™ is a Religious and Political free community. Please do not discuss either in the community, or while participating in sanctioned matches.
Section 2. Sinner or Saint
First and foremost the Elite Battle Zone™ understands we are not the only PlayStation 3 tournament website on the World Wide Web. We have never proclaimed to be the World's Best Tournament website, and we never will. We have always simply stated "You will not be disappointed". The Elite Battle Zone™ has built relationships with some of the top gaming communities on the internet. We have seen how their members act on their sites, and we would expect them to act the same on our site. Follow the Elite Battle Zone™ rules as you would follow the rules for others tournament sites you may belong to. Do NOT be the Saint on one tournament site and then be the Sinner on the Elite Battle Zone™ site.
Follow the EBZ™ rules set forth for the website and forum community. Follow the Rules & Regulations set forth for each tournament provided for our community members. If you think you can not remain a Saint while participating on our website because you are to accustomed to what you have played in the past we ask that you stay at those other sites. All tournament sites are different, have different rules, and will succeed without the issues that Sinners bring.

Tournament Starts: Sunday September 2, 2012
Regular Season Ends: Saturday October 13, 2012
Playoffs Begin: Sunday October 14, 2012
Playoffs End: Saturday November 3, 2012
Section 4. Selecting Teams
1. At the Beginning of the Season you may select any MLB team available.
2. The same team may be used by multiple Owners.
3. Once you have been invited to the Tournament the team you selected must be used for the entire Season.
Section 5. Application Process
1. Anyone wishing to participate in the [EBBL] Strikeout League™ needs to fill out an Application.
2. The Application is Located Here. [EBBL] Strikeout™ S3 Application (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/forms.php?do=form&fid=54)
3. Once your Application is submitted it will be reviewed by the [EBBL™] staff.
4. If the [EBBL™] staff approve your Application, we will inform you via the Invitation Center.
5. Invitations will go out 1 week before the start of the New Season.
6. Any Application not filled out completely will be rejected.
Section 6. Member Invitation Process
1. Invitations will go out 7 days before the start of the New Season.
2. As an invited member it is your responsibility to Accept the invitation.
3. Any invitation that are not accepted within 4 days will be revoked.
4. Make sure you reply to the invitation with a "I Accept" or "I Decline".
Section 7. Rules & Regulation Quiz
1. Participants must take the Rule Quiz (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/vbquiz.php?do=quiz&id=4) so [EBBL™] Staff has acknowledgement they understand the Rules.
Section 8. How Tournament Works
1. You will be given a team schedule at the beginning of the season.
2. You will be able to play anyone on that schedule once the season starts.
3. Each week will have 4 games associated with it.
4. These games must be played by weeks end.
5. You will use the Weekly communication thread to get in contact with your opponent and schedule your game.
6. Once the game is scheduled you will then play that scheduled game.
7. When the game is over you must fill out a match report.
8. Once a match report has been filed and confirmed by the other party, the [EBBL™] staff will update the standings.

Section 10. Weekly Game Communication
1. Teams are to communicate in the Owners (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/forumdisplay.php/466-Owners) section for each weeks games.
2. In each weeks communication thread teams are to disclose their availability, and work a time with opponent to have match played.
3. Teams are to use the forum personal message system to contact opponents to communicate playing time.
4. [EBBL™] Administrator EBZ-CWSJ must be included in every personal message from one opponent to another opponent in regards to availability.
5. To include EBZ-CWSJ just add his name to the intended recipient for the personal message.
6. XMB messages on PS3 to opponents will NO longer be used as a form of communication with opponents.
7. All team participant communication must be done in the forums, and with personal message system in the forum.
8. Failure from an opponent to post available time, or to communicate availability will result in the participant giving the most effort receiving the win once a match results form has been posted.
9. If you do not want to communicate than you do not want to be a participant. Please inform the staff of the [EBBL™] your intentions so we can inform our great community.
10. If neither opponent can communicate, play match, or post a match report both participants will receive a loss in their standings and receive a No-Show.
Section 11. Game Play
1. During the top of the first inning of the match if a player loses connection from the game it will be remade.
2. If a Run is scored before said player drops from the game then it will count as a loss to the player that left.
3. There will be NO position locking.
4. It is simply stated that in the Elite Battle Baseball League™ we want members to play fair and with respect. If you can't do this then Elite Battle Zone™ and [EBBL™] are not the place for you.

Guess Pitch: ON

Section 13. Pitch Rotation
You must follow your teams pitching rotation and use a different pitcher every game. When posting match report in comments put the pitcher you used.
Section 14. Reporting Match Results Information
1. Match Reports must be submitted 1 Hour after game concludes. Failure by both teams to submit match results will result in a double loss.
2. To confirm a match report simply post "Confirm" in that match report.
3. Please include as much detail as you want in your Match Results report post.
4. Match Results that are not complete will not be accepted. All questions must be answered!!
5. Match Results for a owner No-Show must still be submitted with an exception. Simply state "Owner was a No-Show" and submit Match Results.
6. Winning Team must report the match, Losing Team must confirm match report.
7. If the Winning team fails to report the match then it is up to the Losing team to report the match.
8. If you Deny a Match Report then there must be proof given at the same time for your denial.
9. Proof must be in the form of VIDEO.
10. Any denials without proof will be considered "Confirmed"
11. If neither Home or Away Teams report the match then both Teams will be given a No-show since Elite Battle Zone™ can't confirm that either team showed up to their match.
12. Once the report has been confirmed, the [EBBL™] Staff will update the [EBBL] Strikeout™ S3 Standings.
For the purpose of transparency EBZ™ Staff will not post Match Reports for participants of the [EBBL™]. We will only post Match Reports for BYE vs. BYE matches. It is the job of the participants to post their Match Reports. If Match Reports are not posted the rules will be followed as to the outcome for no Match Reports. Do not send a personal message or ask EBZ™ staff in the forum to post a Match Report for the participants. No matter how upset a participant may be. We will not do it!!!

Section 15. No Shows
1. Failure to show for a scheduled match will result in a loss.
2. TWO No-Shows in a single season shows lack of participation and removal of the Owner will be the outcome. These can be random, and do not have to be in a row. If you lose interest please inform [EBBL™] staff so we can make the appropriate changes to inform the community.
3. If you are not going to be able to play your games due to the fact that you will be on vacation/days-off then please inform EBZ-CWSJ and your opponents. You will still receive a loss for the missed game however you will not receive a No-show for them.
4. A participant that puts forth the most effort in weekly communication threads, and in personal messages in the forum shall be awarded the WIN.
5. The participant that fails to communicate in the weekly communication thread and forum via personal messages shall lose any scheduled match, and have a No-Show added.
6. The participant putting forth the most effort may submit a Match Result on the last day of a week, and staff shall confirm the win at the end of the weeks time frame.
7. Participant with most effort to communicate playing times must submit a personal message to EBZ-CWSJ explaining the lack of communication from opponent.
Section 16. Participants Marked Inactive
1. During the coarse of a tournament players may withdraw and/or be removed for No-Shows "Lack of Participation" and an (INACTIVE/BYE) placed by their name.
2. (INACTIVE/BYE) players are considered BYE matches where no match has to be played.
3. (INACTIVE/BYE) BYE matches still need to have a Match Report submitted in the forum from the opposing team.
4. (INACTIVE/BYE) BYE matches are considered a WIN, and reported as such in team standings.
5. (INACTIVE/BYE) BYE matches may be reported in the forum with a Match Report on any day of each weeks time frame.
6. (INACTIVE/BYE) BYE if not reported will be considered a No-Show for the opponent that was to post the Match Report.
Section 17. [EBBL™] Gratitude for Full Participation
[EBBL™] participants that finish the Strikeout season will be awarded 2 extra No-shows for the next season. To be eligible a participant must submit application, accept invitation, and complete entire tournament from start to finish. They may be allowed to acquire 1 no-show in that tournament. If the participant does not make Playoffs, his season ends at the end of regular tournament play.
Section 18. Playoffs
1. Top 8 Team will advance to the [EBBL] Strikeout S3™ Playoffs (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/tournaments.php?t42-[EBBL]-Strikeout-S3%E2%84%A2-Playoffs).
2. Seeding will be based on the standings which can be viewed in the [EBBL] Strikeout S3™ Tournament Standings (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/ladders.php?l69-[EBBL]-Strikeout-S3%E2%84%A2-Tournament-Standings).
3. Ties within the standings will be resolved by a one game match up between the tied teams. Home Team will be decided by a process to be reveled once the season has started.
4. Each round of playoffs will be allotted 7 days same as regular season games.
5. All games must be done by 11:59 pm est (Midnight) of 7th day.
6. If playoff rounds are done early the next round may be started with rule #4 being applied.
7. If neither participant in a playoff round bracket can schedule a time to play their matches the high seed player will advance to next round.
8. If during the championship round the matches can not be scheduled and played by the participants the season will end and there will be NO declared winner.

6. The participant putting forth the most effort may submit a Match Result on the last day of a week, and staff shall confirm the win at the end of the weeks time frame.
7. Participant with most effort to communicate playing times must submit a personal message to EBZ-CWSJ explaining the lack of communication from opponent.
Section 16. Participants Marked Inactive
1. During the coarse of a tournament players may withdraw and/or be removed for No-Shows "Lack of Participation" and an (INACTIVE/BYE) placed by their name.
2. (INACTIVE/BYE) players are considered BYE matches where no match has to be played.
3. (INACTIVE/BYE) BYE matches still need to have a Match Report submitted in the forum from the opposing team.
4. (INACTIVE/BYE) BYE matches are considered a WIN, and reported as such in team standings.
5. (INACTIVE/BYE) BYE matches may be reported in the forum with a Match Report on any day of each weeks time frame.
6. (INACTIVE/BYE) BYE if not reported will be considered a No-Show for the opponent that was to post the Match Report.
Section 17. [EBBL™] Gratitude for Full Participation
[EBBL™] participants that finish the Strikeout season will be awarded 2 extra No-shows for the next season. To be eligible a participant must submit application, accept invitation, and complete entire tournament from start to finish. They may be allowed to acquire 1 no-show in that tournament. If the participant does not make Playoffs, his season ends at the end of regular tournament play.
Section 18. Playoffs
1. Top 8 Team will advance to the [EBBL] Strikeout S3™ Playoffs (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/tournaments.php?t42-[EBBL]-Strikeout-S3%E2%84%A2-Playoffs).
2. Seeding will be based on the standings which can be viewed in the [EBBL] Strikeout S3™ Tournament Standings (http://www.elitebattlezone.com/ladders.php?l69-[EBBL]-Strikeout-S3%E2%84%A2-Tournament-Standings).
3. Ties within the standings will be resolved by a one game match up between the tied teams. Home Team will be decided by a process to be reveled once the season has started.
4. Each round of playoffs will be allotted 7 days same as regular season games.
5. All games must be done by 11:59 pm est (Midnight) of 7th day.
6. If playoff rounds are done early the next round may be started with rule #4 being applied.
7. If neither participant in a playoff round bracket can schedule a time to play their matches the high seed player will advance to next round.
8. If during the championship round the matches can not be scheduled and played by the participants the season will end and there will be NO declared winner.

2. Round Two Semi Finals: Best Of 3 Sunday October 21, 2012 to Saturday October 27, 2012 3 Game Series to be played Sunday 12:00 pm est. (Noon) to Saturday 11:59 pm est. (Midnight)
3. Championship Playoff Finals: Best Of 5 Sunday October 28, 2012 to Saturday November 3, 2012 5 Game Series to be played Sunday 12:00 pm est. (Noon) to Saturday 11:59 pm est. (Midnight)
