I think that from the similarities that I may have to buy one of each as soon as I can. I like the options that the Xbox ONE has with the Kinect functionality. I love how the Kinect will let you grab the screen and shrink it or enlarge it and also the way you will be able to say, "xbox on." The one thing the chart doesnt discuss is how the PS4 has the extra processor for downloading while playing or using the system for movies or whatever. Anyhow, I will have at least one Xbox ONE, but I will definitely have more than one PS4.

But one thing that threw me off was EA said FIFA 14, nba live 14, madden 25, and UFC would be coming to Xbox within 12 months.

The Microsoft took to their official twitter page and confirmed that and added they would actually be available for Xbox one this year.

What bothers me is what about nhl and also why has EA only made this announcement for XBox One? Are they focusing on first batch. Of games for Xbox only or are they saving ps4 announcement for E3 in 19 days..

All I know is that if these games aren't available for ps4 this year as well I am going to be pissed off.

Well Joe Biden, I am glad you are only the VP for a couple more years. I really hope that Reverend Franklin Graham doesnt get his way. Today at a gun legistration strategy meeting, the Reverend suggested this idea to tax violent video games as a way to get funding to give to victims and their families of violent gun crimes.

Here is why I have problems with this idea. First they want to tax violent video games. Well that would be 95% of all video games as there is some type of violence in just about every game out there. Whether its Little Big Planet or Far Cry 3. Second problem I have with this is the premise that violent video games causes violent gun crime. This is a myth made up by people who want to make a name for themselves. Ninety percent of gun crime happens in impoverished neighborhoods of big cities. With that, the ones committing the crimes are not playing violent video games and saying to themselves, "I should go outside and do this for real." It is actually the opposite. The ideas in most video games come from real life.

Grand Theft Auto - people were committing the crimes that the characters in this video game are committing way before this franchise was ever released.
Call of Duty franchise started with WWII re-enactment. Saying that this causes people to go shoot other people, is like saying that this franchise started WWII.

My point is, that most violent games are created from real life, whether it is from our history, or from our police blotter in the local newspaper.

If they want to tax anything in an attempt to help those victims and their families, why dont they tax bullets like they tax cigarettes or alcohol. Or even better, tax different bullets and other ammunition by the amount of time that type of ammo is used in a violent crime.

Dont raise the tax on the top 10 ammunition less than 7% on top of what the tax already is. So in this example, a box of .25 caliber would be the highest taxed ammo. Say a box retails at $25. Say the normal sales tax is 8.6%, well then you would add another 10% on top that goes to a victims fund. So every box would put $2.50 per sale in that fund. While its true most guns used in violent crimes are stolen, the thief will still need to get ammo for that gun. If he didnt get any when he stole it, most stores sell ammunition to anyone over the age of 18. So he wont have any issue buying the ammo he needs.

Violent video games are not the cause of violent crime. This is just a cop out by parents and other people in society who do not want to take responsibility for their children or the actions of adults that were their children. Most kids involved in violent criminal acts or gang, are involved in those things because no one is supervising them nor have they been taught right from wrong by their parents/guardians.

I cant believe this has even become an idea. Well... yes I can. To punish all gamers for criminals is not right. Lets send a message to the government about this. Lets not let them do this to the majority of us who are law abiding citizens. Out of the gaming community, I am willing to bet only 1% of our poplulation has committed a violent crime. I would be willing to bet on it.

Reporting Match Results Information

Match Report Form

1. Match Reports must be submitted 1 Hour after match concludes. Failure to submit match reports will result in a double loss.
2.Winning participant must report the match, losing participant must confirm match report.
3. To confirm a Match Report simply post "Confirm" in that Match Report.
4. Please include as much detail as you want in your Match Reports.
5. Match Reports must have all questions answered to be accepted. Match Reports that are not complete will NOT be accepted.
6. Match Reports for a participant No-Show must still be submitted with an exception. Simply state "Participant was a No-Show" and submit Match Report.
7. If the winner fails to report the match then it is up to the loser to report the match.
8. If you Deny a Match Report then there must be proof given at the same time for your denial.
9. Proof must be in the form of video.
10. Any Denials without proof will be considered "Confirmed"
11. If neither participant reports the match then both participants will be given a No-show since Elite battle Zone™ can't confirm that either participant showed up to their match.
12. Once the Match Report has been confirmed, EBZ™ Staff will update the standings.
13. Each round played, the players will receive points.

The point scale is as follows:

(Points will also convert to points that you can spend on vB signatures)
  • For each round won, players will receive 3pts.
  • For each round lost, players will receive 1pt.
  • Potentially the most points a player can earn in a match is 7pts. Win 2 rounds and lose 1 round if all 3 rounds are played.
  • Points will be used to break any standings ties at playoff time.
14. Listing the characters used on the match report is crucial. This is how the EBZ™ Staff will keep track of what character each player has used. Each player will have a list of the characters below their name in the Justifiable Deicide™ Tournament section of the forum.
15. If a player uses a character that has been previously removed from his/her list, that match will result in a forfeit loss for that player.
