Elite Battle Zone is proud to announce our Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament. Clans will battle in two attacks per week for ten weeks or however long a clan may last. Clans will start with three territories and one territory will be labeled as the Base of Operation. A clans Base of Operation may only be attacked once if it is their last territory. No clans shall be eliminated in the first week. Each territory will have a different Map, Soldier Count, and Game Mode to be warred by the defending and attacking clans. Soldier Count will be 4 vs. 4, 8 vs. 8, 12 vs. 12, and 16 vs. 16 with maps being large and small based on territory size.
Clans will start out with a set amount of Battle Points, and they must use Resources once they become available to travel from continent to continent and inner continent land travel. Each Resource has a BP value to purchase, and a BP value to use each time. Clans are only allowed to control four territories at any given time, and once a fifth territory is acquired they must label one dead. Each dead territory will have a Death Symbol signifying it being dead, and which clan controlled it. Clans may change their Base of Operation during week five, and it will cost Battle Points to do this.
A clan is allowed one Leader and two Representatives. Each week on Sunday at 8:00 pm est. there will be an attack meeting using EBZ Homeworld. This tournament involves clans being able to think about who they want to attack, when they attack, and what resource they use. This tournament is not for those clans that just want to war. This tournament is for those clans that are looking for a challenge. Something that tests the wits and strategic mentality of the clan.
All clans are welcome to submit an Application to participate. Application questions must be 100% filled out. We will only be inviting twenty-one clan applications. Each clan application will be distributed an Invitation. Invitations must be accepted by clan leader/rep to be involved in this grand tournament. Winning clans must submit Match Results, and losing clans must confirm. Battle Points will be tracked weekly for each clan in the forum. We hope all clans that participate in this grand tournament enjoy it, and have a blast. Let the strategic battles begin!
Section 2: Website & Forum Rules
The Elite Battle Zone is built on trust, respect of, and by the online gamers that participate in its tournaments.
1. Respect thy clan/squad/individual, thy enemy’s clan/squad/individual, and thyself. Treat others in a fashion in which you yourself would want to be treated.
2. Have fun. These are games, and as such should be enjoyed by all who play them. If the game is no longer enjoyable than that is when an individual should stop playing. Don't allow your misery of the game to ruin the experience for someone else.
3. Follow and abide by the ROE (Rules of Engagement) for each tournament that your clan/squad/individual participates in. The ROE shall be short and sweet, and all participants should be able to abide by them.
4. Follow and abide by all forum community rules that may be established in the Elite Battle Zone.
5. Follow Elite Battle Zone Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Copyright/IP Policy.
6. Uphold the values of the EBZ while your clan/squad/individual participates here. Do not bash, insult, flame, or harass any clan/squad/individual who participates in the EBZ. Your actions reflect this website, and as such should be navigated away from any wrong doing.
7. Staff abuse will not be tolerated in any form, be it messaging, forums, or PS3 online messaging. Situations such as this will be handled accordingly.
8. Disrespect in any form to any Referee, Moderator, Staff Member, Administrator, Community Member, or Clan/Squad/Individual who participates in the EBZ will not be tolerated. Listed below are the infractions that will be given if/when a violation happens. Elite Battle Zone may at it's discretion use (D.) for a violation without following A, B, or C.
A.) 1st offense from an individual that disrespects will be given 1 event suspension.
B.) 2nd offense from an individual that disrespects will be given 2 event suspension.
C.) 3rd offense from an individual that disrespects will be removed from event participation.
D.) 4th offense from an individual that disrespects will be removed from the Elite Battle Zone.
9. Elite Battle Zone will not tolerate any form of discrimination of any community member based on Color, Sex, Age, Political Views, Nationality, Gender, Religion, Disability, Race, Creed, and Gaming Console.
10. Elite Battle Zone values the Constitutional rights for freedom of speech and freedom of expression. However; we will have to draw a line if this gets out of control in the forum community. We do not censor threads that are created. We simply ask that good judgment be used on certain words or phrases.
11. Elite Battle Zone is a Religious and Political free community. Please do not discuss either in the community, or while participating in sanctioned matches.
Section 3: Sinner or Saint
First and foremost the Elite Battle Zone understands we are not the only PlayStation 3 tournament website on the World Wide Web or Internet. We have never proclaimed to be the World's Best Tournament website, and we never will. We have always simply stated "You will not be disappointed". The Elite Battle Zone has built relationships with some of the top gaming communities on the internet. We have seen how their members act on their websites, and we would expect them to act the same on our website. Follow the Elite Battle Zone rules as you would follow the rules for other tournament websites you may belong to.
Do NOT be the Saint on one tournament website and then be the Sinner on the Elite Battle Zone website. Follow the EBZ rules set forth for the website, forum community, and tournaments. Follow the Rules & Regulations set forth for each tournament provided for our community members. If you think you can not remain a Saint while participating on our website because you are to accustomed to what you have played in the past on other websites we ask that you stay at those other websites. All tournament websites are different, have different rules, and will succeed without the issues that Sinners bring.
Section 4: Clan Application Process
All clans wishing to participate in the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament must submit an application to participate. These applications must be completed entirely, and posted in the Applications section. Any applications not completed will not be accepted. Applications should be completed by a Clan Leader or Representative. A clan that truly wishes to participate in the Elite Battle Zone tournaments will have no issue in properly completing an application.

Section 5: Clan Invitation Process
All clans selected to participate in the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament will be given an Invitation that requires them to accept. This invitation must be accepted within 48 hours of the date/time it was posted. All Invitations will be posted in the Invitations section of the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament forum. Failure for the clan to accept will result in a revocation of the invite and they must wait to participate in the next tournament. Invitations will be posted 10 days prior to Week 1 Sunday night weekly meeting. Once an Invitation is accepted the Clan Leader must create his clan in EBZ Gaming. Clan rosters will be posted in the Teams List area of EBZ Gaming™. All clan leaders/reps need to reply to their Invitation with either the words "We Accept" or "We Decline".
Section 6: Cheating
The use of glitches are not permitted in the Elite Battle Zone. Examples include, but are not limited to:
1. Moving or looking though walls.
2. Shooting/throwing grenades through walls, roofs, and soft spots.
3. Lying in soft sections of the map which leaves you hard to see. This includes laying inside dead bodies.
4. Using any device that may manipulate the map for an uneven advantage.
5. Using any form of a weapons glitch.
6. Using glitches in the game to gain an unfair advantage.
7. Soft spotting should be minimized by all clans.
8. Using a lag switch is strictly prohibited and this also includes any computer software program that creates lag.
9. Using a computer to alter the game in any way is prohibited.
10. If a clan is accusing another clan of cheating, the burden of proof is on the clan who blamed another for cheating. You must supply sufficient proof such as a video to show another team cheating. Do NOT throw out accusations without proof.
If you have no proof DO NOT speak about an issue so that we may avoid any drama, or clans being offended.
If you have an issue with another team, please submit the following to an EBZ Administrator:
Username:
Priority:
Description:
Any clan or player found guilty of cheating will be suspended from the tournament for an unlimited amount of time until the EBZ staff has resolved the matter.
Any evidence provided shall be on video. If there is no proof via video please keep accusations to yourself. We do not need the drama when nothing can be proven.
Pictures will NOT be accepted as they can be altered with programs.
If the clan or person is found guilty he/she shall be removed immediately from his/her roster, clan official roster locked, and clan or person will be banned for the duration of the tournament for which the action occurred. If this should happen again with same clan or person, that clan or person will be removed from the EBZ, and banned from future participation.
Any reports of abuse by fellow clan mates should be reported to your clans appointed leader/rep in the first instance, if the outcome of this is not satisfactory only then shall you report this matter to the leagues staff for further assistance.
The rules on cheating pertain to all Glitches old and new. Even if it isn't directly mentioned in this section it is still illegal. Play the game the way it is designed to be played. Do not use any glitch even if it doesn't give a boost to your armor, weapon power, or anything else. If it is something not meant to be used or it is downloaded from a website, it is a glitch.
All Glitches are banned! All Glitchers will be punished when caught!!
Section 7: Rosters
1. Clan Official Rosters will be displayed in the Teams List of EBZ Gaming™.
2. Official Rosters will be unlimited to the total number of clan members allowed by Starhawk the game.
3. Clan members must be Registered on the EBZ Forum to be eligible to participate in sanctioned battles.
4. Clan members must request to join their clan in EBZ Gaming.
5. Names must match exactly as they are on roster in the game of Starhawk, and must be spelled exactly the same as PSN ID.
6. Username in the EBZ Forum must be the exact match of PSN ID, and any clan member that plays a match that did not follow this part of the process, will not be allowed to join their roster for the rest of the tournament. If the player cannot follow this simple rule, then obviously they do not respect their clan leader or the EBZ and thus lose any chance of playing in this tournament. This does not mean they cannot join their clan in a tournament that starts after this.
7. If your clan is found to have a Ringer that player shall be suspended for the duration of the season and the clan will have its Official Roster locked.
8. There will be no clans allowed to pick up members from other clans while those clans are participating in Starhawk: Battles Evolution. We are not saying a clan cant get new members. What we are saying is that when a member is picked up from a clan they shall not be able to be placed on any clans Official Roster for a tournament season while the clan is participating. They will have to wait until the next season that the clan participates in.
9. Clans are only allowed a maximum of 2 Representatives and 1 Leader. Leaders if your initial representative cannot fulfill their position, you will have to make a change.
10. Only one representative is allowed to be in meetings. Leaders rank your reps, send the highest ranking officer in your clan for meetings. If you are not available send your 2nd in command.
Click below link to create Official Clan.

A clan may have up to four wars and as few as zero wars per week (based on number of clans and attacks made). Clans do not have to make an attack if they do not want to. Once a clan has been attacked twice they will be removed from the clan list so they do not get attacked a third time. Clans will start with 3 territories and they will designate a territory as their Base of Operation. The three territories will be scattered across the globe. The Base of Operation can not be attacked until it is the last territory owned by the clan. Week 5 allows for each clan to relocate their Base of Operation at the cost of 10 Battle Points. Each clans Base of Operation will be labeled with an icon indicating location.
Section 12: Clan Battle Lobby Specifics
Based on Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM territorial game modes the clans that battle shall play the game mode, map, and soldier count associated with each territory. Each territory has a game mode, map, and a soldier count associated for which all clans participating must battle. The attacking team then will enter server by using the password established for that war, and make sure all their members join. Both clans shall make sure all members are on correct sides. Section 14: Weekly Territorial Attack Meeting
An EBZ Administrator will hold weekly meetings for the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament. These weekly meetings will take place on Sundays of all 10 weeks of the tournament. The meetings will start at 8:00 pm est. and will be held in EBZ Homeworld. All clan leaders/reps should add EBZ2010 to their friends list to be invited into EBZ Homeworld. Once the tournament has concluded each clan leader/rep may remove EBZ2010 to make space on friends list.
Attacks are based on alphabetical order of clans and rotates 1 spot in the alphabet each week. The attacking clan will name the territory they wish to attack and what resource they will use if available, and state a time and date. The defending clan will state if they wish to use a resource and both clans must be able to work out the time and date during meeting. If a clan fails to show for a weekly meeting they can still be attacked, but they will forfeit their attack option. Failure to make a meeting also counts as a "No Show". A clan that fails to show will have to war at the time stated by the attacking clan. There will be NO negotiating of a war time for a clan that fails to make a weekly meeting.
You snooze you lose!!
All weekly attack meeting information will be posted in the Weekly Territorial Attacks section. If you can not make a weekly meeting please inform an EBZ Administrator well in advance of who will represent your clan. Submitted personal messages to staff relating to attacks, or declaring territories dead will not be accepted as a substitute for missing a meeting. Your clan leader/rep must be present at weekly meetings to make attacks, or to declare territories dead. If you have reached your 5 territory limit, and are not present for a meeting an EBZ Administrator will declare a territory dead in your absence.
You snooze you lose!!
EBZ Administrators are human, and we are bound to make mistakes. If you see a mistake please inform us immediately so we can correct the error.
Section 15: Maps & Sides
1. Each clan shall battle the Game Mode, Map, and Soldier Count associated with each territory.
2. Each territory on the Interactive Territorial Global Map once hovered by the mouse will indicate Game Mode, Map, and Soldier Count.
3. The defending clan will start on the side of the Rifter for each battle.
Section 16: Territorial Control
Clans will start the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament with 3 territories. These territories will be scattered all across the Globe. This tournament will last for 10 weeks and as clans progress they will win and lose territories. To keep clans from dominating the entire board and to keep a strategic feel to the game a clan must declare a territory dead once they reach 5 territories. The most territories a clan may control at any given time is 4.

There is a strategic factor that clans must use when determining what territory they declare dead. The above Base of Operation symbol will be placed on the territory that each clan labels Base of Operation. A clan may be eliminated only once they lose their Base of Operation. The Base of Operation is the last territory owned by a clan, and may only be attacked once it is the last territory owned. No Island on any continent may be declared Base of Operation.

Once a territory is pronounced dead by a clan that reaches 5 territories it will have it's color changed to black, and the Death Symbol above applied to the territory. Each Death Symbol will have the clans color, and be placed according to the announcing of dead territories. Each Death Symbol representing clans will indicate the hard work by the clan, and will be a remembrance of territorial ownership. This also allows EBZ staff to keep a valid record for historical purposes, and provides for additional ITGM functionality and playoff seeding. Staff will also use clan Death Symbols for determining the top four clans to make the playoffs at the end of the 10 week tournament. Clan members and guests alike will enjoy this feature. Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM has 7 continents totaling 78 territories. 14 of these territories will be neutral until the weeks the resources become available. This leaves 64 territories, and we would need 21 clans at 3 territories each to make a full tournament.
There may be during this tournament Neutral Territories. If a clan butts up to a Neutral territory with a territory they own and no other clan does they may purchase said territory for 3 BP. A clan does not have to purchase a territory if they don't want to. If two clans butt up to a Neutral territory they must battle to see who becomes owner if both clans want the territory. If a clan butts up to a proclaimed Dead territory they have a free pass to travel through that territory to attack the next territory. No resource is needed to pass through a Dead territory.
Four continents have islands and an attack route is labeled by a line of Teal Dots from which territory the island may be attacked. An Attack Chopper is the only resource that can be used to attack an island. Attack Chopper is not available until week 3, and islands will not be attacked until the Attack Chopper resource is available. No island may be labeled a Base of Operation as they may not be attacked until week 3. An island may be declared Dead the same as the rest of the territories.
Section 17: Region to Region Territory Borders
There are Four Regions that have Territories that border other Region Territories. These Territories that border each other in these Four Regions may attack each other as easily as if they where in the same Region. The Regions and Territories are listed below which may attack each other without using any special resource.
Region B, B11 Mexico to Region C, C2 Colombia (Vice Versa)
Region D, D8 Saudi Arabia to Region E, E17 Turkey (Vice Versa)
Region E, E4 Latvia to Region F, F3 West Allied States (Vice Versa)
Region E, E13 Georgia to Region F, F3 West Allied States (Vice Versa)
Region E, E14 Kazakhstan to Region F, F8 Russia (Vice Versa)
Region E, E14 Kazakhstan to Region F, F9 Mongolia (Vice Versa)
Region E, E14 Kazakhstan to Region G, G1 China (Vice Versa)
Region E, E15 Iran to Region G, G1 China (Vice Versa)
Region E, E15 Iran to Region G, G2 India (Vice Versa)
Region F, F9 Mongolia to Region G, G1 China (Vice Versa)
Region F, F11 Laos to Region G, G1 China (Vice Versa)
Section 18: Available Maps & Modes
Territories are labeled with Game Mode, Map, and Soldier Count to be used for each territory war. These wars must follow exactly as labeled, and can only be changed if a Counter-Intelligence Resource is used. Below are the Maps offered by Starhawk that will be used in the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament.

Section 19: ITGM Resource Legend

The Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Resource Legend is there to help each clan understand what resources are available to them, when they are available, and how much they cost to purchase. When you hover your mouse over each of the Resource Icons an animated image appears and states "Click for info". Once you click it a Schematic will appear stating the resource information available. You can continue this process for each resource icon.
Section 20: Resources

Bomber Plane: Used for Long Distance to attack from continent Hanger to continent Hanger. A Bomber Plane will have a Hanger, and the Hanger will be associated with 1 territory on each continent. If an attack is made on a territory with a Hanger and the attacking clan wins they become new owners of that territory. If they already own a Bomber Plane they must declare one of them dead. 4 BP to purchase resource. Bomber Planes will become available in week 4.

Battle Ship: Used for Long Distance to attack sea side territories with Sea Ports. It can only be purchased by clans that control territories with Sea Ports. Battle Ships can deploy from Sea Ports and attack other Sea Port territories only. If an attack is made on a territory with a Sea Port and the attacking clan wins they become the new owners of the Sea Port territory. If they already own a Battle Ship they must declare one dead. 4 BP to purchase resource. Battle Ships will become available in week 5.

Attack Chopper: Used for short range attacks. The Attack Chopper will have the ability to fly over 1 territory to attack the next closet territory (Leap Frog). They can skip one territory to attack another territory. 4 BP to purchase resource. They will be available in week 3.

Counter-Intelligence: Used to give defending clan the ability to change the Game Mode, Map, and Soldier Count. They can change to any Game Mode, Map, and Soldier Count they want. This resource is not associated with a territory, and it belongs to the clan and is not winnable on an attack. 5 BP each use, maximum use 3 times per clan. This resource is available Week 1 and clans should use caution as they may need for later weeks.

Road Block: Used to allow defending clan to make the attacking clan play 1 man down, and this man will be of the defending clans choosing. However; they may NOT choose the clan leader or representative. 2BP each use per clan. They will be available Week 2, 4, 6, and 8 and only allowed to be used in these weeks.

Weapon Release: Used to inform clans of the weekly weapon that will NOT be allowed to be used. Each clan leader/rep must pay very close attention to this weekly update.
Section 21: Sea Ports & Hangers
There are 7 Continents associated with the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament. There will be one Launch Area per continent for each Bomber Plane (Hanger) and Battle Ship (Sea Port). The Launch Area for the Battle Ship will be a territory that borders the ocean for travel from one continent Sea Port to another continent Sea Port. The Launch Area for the Bomber Plane will be a territory inland on each continent. These Launch Areas will be labeled with a Bomber Plane and a Battle Ship image, and will be randomly placed on each of the 7 continents. Clans must make attacks from the Launch Areas to other launch Areas.
Resources are available at certain times of the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament. They will become available certain weeks and after they become available they may be used. Each resource will have a different value set to be purchased. A resource may only be purchased once a clan controls the territory associated for each resource. If a clan does not control the territory they can not purchase a resource. Clans must fight to gain control of the territory that is the Launch Area for the resource. The only resource allowed for purchase that is not associated with a Launch Area are the Attack Chopper, Counter-Intelligence, and Road Block.
The territory that is Launch Area to the resource will be a neutral territory until the week the resource becomes available and the territory color will be White. Neutral territories may be used freely by clans to travel through to attack other territories that butt up to the neutral territory. During the weeks they become available they may be battled for by territories that directly butt up to them. The clans during the picking order on a first come first serve basis to attack the Launch Area territory will battle for it. If clan A states they want to attack, and then clan D is the next to state they want to attack clan A will battle clan D for ownership. First clan to state attack will be the defending clan, and will make the battle room. The winner of the battle claims the territory.
The Launch Area will always remain the same territory, and clans can continue to attack it for ownership. The Launch Area and a purchased resource can attack any territory on any continent and must be an attack on a Launch Area. The continent to continent attacks can only be done with the Bomber Plane, and Battle Ship resources. A clan may if they choose proclaim the Launch Area as a dead territory taking it out of game play for the remainder of the tournament. This however must be thought of very carefully as this is a very strategic move.
A Resource Territory while neutral until the week it becomes available may have multiple clans use it. The clans will be considered (friendly) and can sit there in order to attack on week it becomes available, or use it to attack near by territories that butt up to the Resource Territory. Only 2 clans will be allowed to occupy a Resource Territory while it is in neutral mode. The first clan to occupy a Resource Territory while in neutral mode will be the defending clan if at the time it becomes available to be attacked. The second clan will be the attacking clan, and all rules for battle room must be followed.

Section 24: Match Results Reporting Process
1. The winning clan leader/rep must report the Match Results. This will be done in the Match Reports section of the tournament forum. If winning clan leader/rep fails to report the match after an 8 hour period the match will become void, and if they won the territory will go back to the losing clan.
2. The losing clan leader/rep must confirm an existing Match Report to eliminate issues of something being wrong. EBZ staff relies on Match Reports for tracking purposes, and ITGM updates.
3. To confirm Match Reports simply "quote" the post with a "I Confirm" or state what the issue may be if you don't agree.
4. Please include as much detail as you want in your battle Match Report.
5. Match Reports that are not complete will not be accepted.
6. MVP's on Match Reports without clan tags will not be accepted. Make sure proper information for MVP's is submitted for MVP credit. Tags, PSN ID, Kills & Deaths must be reported. Don't be the clan that cuts short your player.
7. Match Reports for a clan "No-Show" must still be submitted with an exception. The clan that shows submits Match Report and in comments section states that the other clan was a "No Show".

Section 25: Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament Ladder
Once a clan has accepted their invitation to participate they must create their clan in EBZ Gaming. Once they have created their clan they must join the ladder for the Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament Standings. After each weeks battles EBZ Staff will update the standings.
Section 26: Clan No Shows
1. Failure to show for a scheduled and accepted match will result in a forfeit and count as a No-Show.
2. Failure to show for a weekly meeting will count as a No-Show.
3. Two (No-Shows) to battle room or weekly meeting in a single season shows lack of participation and removal of the clan will be the outcome. These can be random, and do not have to be in a row. If you lose interest please inform EBZ staff so we can make the appropriate changes to inform the community.
4. All clans are encouraged to participate, and if they no longer wish to participate please let the Elite Battle Zone know.
5. A clan with a No-Show if defending will forfeit territory which will transfer to the winner.
6. If a designated leader/rep can not attend a weekly meeting they may inform EBZ Administrators well in advance of who will represent their clan.
Section 27: Playoffs
1. Four clans with the most territories will be the clans making it into the playoffs.
2. If more than 4 clans are equal in territories controlled we will count all clan Death Symbols to determine seeding for the 4 top clans.
3. If these clans are tied with Death Symbols we will use total accumulated Battle Points in addition to Death Symbols to determine seeding.
4. Seed #1 against seed #4, seed #2 against seed #3.
5. Playoff standings will be posted in EBZ Gaming.
6. Each round of playoffs including championship battle will be a 1 battle war.
7. High seed clans Base of Operation will be the map used in Playoffs. Game Mode, Map, and Soldier Count for Base of Operation will be used.
8. There will be NO Resources available in Playoffs.
9. High seed clans are the defending clans and low seeds are the attacking clans. High seeds will make battle rooms.
10. Defending high seed clans will start map on Rifter side.
11. One clan will be labeled Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament Champion.
The Playoffs are based on 4 clans making them. We want to make clear to everyone that clans can and will be eliminated from this tournament once they lose their Base of Operation. If this process occurs where there is only 1 clan left before the end of week 10 that clan will be declared the champions of the Starhawk: Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament. If there are less than 4 but more than 1 clan at the end of week 10 we will seed based on information stated above. If three clans are seeded in playoffs the #1 seed will have a bye into the championship match. Seeds #2 and #3 will battle to go against seed #1 for the championship title.
